A late sequel, but still enjoyable...

If you enjoyed the original 1978 "Drunken Master" (aka "Zui quean"), then you definitely want to sit down and watch the sequel that came into existence in 1994, "Drunken Master II" (aka "Jui kuen II").

While "Drunken Master II" is not as intense or have the same level of humor to it as the 1978 predecessor, then it should be said that the 1994 sequel is a whole different movie in its own right, but still keeping the spirit of the original movie at heart.

The 1994 sequel, "Drunken Master II", has a very impressive array of casted actors and actresses to the cast list, which includes the likes of the late Anita Mui, Lung Ti and Andy Lau to assist the always enjoyable Jackie Chan on the screen.

There is a good amount of mixture of both action and comedy, which is, of course, the trademark Jackie Chan style. So if you enjoy his movies, you will definitely also enjoy "Drunken Master II". The action and martial arts sequences throughout the movie was phenomenally well-choreographed and executed on the screen - again, also a trademark Jackie Chan style.

The storyline in "Drunken Master II" is fairly straightforward and doesn't really require much from the audience. So you just essentially lean back and enjoy the ride.
