Chicago Fire (2012– )
9/10
Good, but please, make two adjustments
23 May 2019
I've watched this show from its inception, and I look forward to every episode. Some of the longer plot lines run longer than they should, and can wear on you.

I grew-up watching Adam-12, the Rookies, SWAT, and Emergency/Emergency One. I always have enjoyed this genre, and I also watch Chicago PD regularly. I stopped watching Chicago Med, because, it got boring during Season Two, and I haven't gone back to catch-up, except for watching the crossover episodes.

During the Summer hiatus, since I may not have much else to watch, I may go back and catch-up, but that will only be out of sheer boredom.

Two suggestions/questions for the producers/writers:

1) Why is it that we never see a call come-in while the firefighters are sleeping in their bunks? This really detracts from the reality of the series. This was a regular feature on Emergency, and it is missing from your show, especially given that we have just completed the Seventh Season.

2) Can we please stop ending most seasons with a cliff-hanger that could leave some or all of the firefighters dead? This gets really tiring for us, because we know it is only likely that you will kill a main character, if you can't get them signed to a contract, and we will know about this in the media, well before your new season airs. Please, just bring every season to a normal conclusion.

Thank you!
