What a horrible adaptation of the Death of Superman--don't watch it

It's hard to pick a place where to start. I'll start with the dialog. For being more of an adult movie, I say that due to the language, the dialog is more for children. Right out of the gate you get the whole let's be bad guys with high tech equipment, and do low tech crime that makes no sense while pontificating about their crime that makes no sense. I wish it would have stopped there. It didn't though. The shuttle scene was even worse. Anytime Lex spoke, be ready for an underwhelming bit of voice acting that didn't feel like Lex at all. Then there was Superman himself, who was completely unsure of himself and stumbling through everything. He was almost a borderline coward. My Superman (from the 90's) wasn't one to be such a coward. Even when he was around his parents he behaved more like a teenager than an actual adult. I need to leave it right there. I was hoping they would at least do Doomsday some justice. Joke's on me. Learned how to fly, and adapted heat vision, things that happened with the fight in the original comics. The original Doomsday was far more menacing. This one had more the feeling of a poorly thought out idea. Even his introduction seemed haphazard. Once those hopes were dashed, I was thinking maybe the fight between the two would be worth it. And dashed, yet again. A fight on a bridge that we all knew the beats by heart. It wasn't surprising, intense, or realistic. Then the bridge started falling apart, but then stopped somehow? And how in the hell is Superman going to tie up Doomsday with bridge cabling, knowing that it wouldn't hold himself down? The decisions made to hold the creature back never even made sense. Last part of the fight, Lois standing within 5 feet of Doomsday, Superman throws such a hard punch that it snaps the creature's neck, causing a huge shockwave, that wouldn't have killed Lois at all..... Do yourself a favor and skip the movie.
