Battles amongst the 3 future Nobel price laureates, brave nurses and doctors, questionable scientific methods (consent, privacy, standardization of drugs), and a lot more just keep you begging for more at the end of each chapter thanks to a brilliant combination of real and fictional characters and events. Free from obvious PC sociopolitical agenda, this series tells things how they were at the time, with just the right dose of fairytaling, which is what movies are all about.
