She's Back
11 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This is a Chinese ghost story with English subtitles.

Mr. Song is restoring #81 in Beijing. They break open a cauldron which holds dead infants and releases...? His wife is Dr. He and Song works for Mr. Wang. I'll let you make the jokes. Song and He move into the house so he can be closer to his work and He will have drive farther. It isn't long before He has hallucinations and sees the events of the past and the treachery that happened.

This is China where the film is more art and cultural drama than horror. At one point plastic dolls are thrown down on the floor and they were supposed to be dead babies but made the sound of dolls when they hit the floor. Very confusing. You would think a rag doll and some pig guts would have been better.

The plot goes back and forth between the Beijing warlord mutiny and the present. It appears there is a reincarnation of events, but not quite.

And if you have never seen a Chinese exorcism...
