I find the 1950's B movies amusing and watch out for the goofs but this one almost defies belief, I have never seen anything so bad, from the overacting (very badly) to the title review about a cruise ship, it was a small boad that should only operate on a river and a small one at that.
Repeated use of the same shots, land appearing when they are supposed to be miles from land, a "cruise" ship that is half sunk and then back afloat. This is a typical teen angst movie where all the cast are screaming wimps, with the exception of the gung ho suicide squad. 30 minutes towards the end, I am "watching" it now, all the boats have self repaired. Gung Ho has been caught from behind by this abysmal excuse for SFX, no continuity, the script? I can't write the words to describe it. I see the macho women have finally taken command and little wimp boy barks orders as 3 head has now morphed into 5 head. This appears to have been a badly produced Greenpeace production as it keeps going on and on and on about the pollution and how this laughable mutated predator is attracted to it. I have to change channels now as I cannot bear any more teen angst about trying to save their friends and the world when they don't have the skills to do either and especially not a movie. I having given it any stars but will probably be required to give it one and it doesn't even deserve that.
