We have seen every single episode, all 12 years. Many were binge-watched, since we came to this late. Big fans of whatever comic or literary turn the series takes. We also have seen a lot of sci fi and other escapist things - we have serious lives as original classical musicians. We found this hilarious in its over the top writing! Of COURSE there is going to be an explanation for all this - and of course, it will center around George. And liquor. Funniest lines? "What about Mrs. Brackenreid???". "Hmmm . . . Hard to tell . . "
This is not Masterpiece Theater - something else we watch. Lighten up, and enjoy the ride.
