A true mirror for Catalans and rest of Spanish people to observe the consequences of politicians using identity emotions to grow their voters base.

Warning: Spoilers
At one moment in the documentary, Carlos Puigdemont talks about the need of mastering theatrical skills to maintain the attention of voters. This is what Two Catalonias is about, the mechanics of creating a strong pro-independent movement out of a small initial base with a mix of marketing talent, half truths, victimization, and amazing stupidity from the Spanish Partido Popular government. This exhausting ten-year process ends in a mayor constitutional crisis and a divide in Catalonian population that the next generation will have to deal with. In the words of international journalist John Carlin the whole thing could have been easily solved from the beginning, had there been political talent and had emotions not taken over.
