Easily Forgettable
25 September 2018
With its tedious 3-hour running time (of a story the could've easily been told in just 2 hours) - And actor, Marlon Brando putting in a truly gutless performance as "Mr. Romeo-Nazi-Loverboy" - "The Young Lions" really did push the absolute limits of what I thought to be tolerable entertainment.

I mean - This 1958 WW2 soap opera was certainly no "From Here To Eternity" - And, with Dean Martin being as insincere and pretentious as ever - And, Montgomery Clift looking almost unrecognizable (1 year after an accident that ruined his face) - "The Young Lions" was a truly tiresome ordeal that (60 years later) fell flat on its face, over, and over again.
