THE SAINT PLAYS WITH FIRE is one of the more exciting SAINT episodes dating from the end of series two. This time around, Templar finds himself going up against fascist thug members of the British Nazi Party, and lots of perilous situations and fisticuffs ensue. This episode benefits from crisp black and white photography, more in-depth plotting than usual, and a strong supporting cast that includes the great former wrestler Joe Robinson as another heavy. Interestingly, Robinson would later go up against Bond again - this time in the form of Sean Connery - for DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.
