With all the prior shorts, movies, shows, and other resources (many of them good) on the internet, you'd think the film makers would have a wonderful palette of fresh and scary ideas to pull from. They did not. It was absolutely terrible. The plot was completely unoriginal (i.e. high school students conduct a seance), the "figureless" and "mysterious" slender man was continuously portrayed as a very distinct and flamboyant hipster, all the characters were victims...I'm just gonna stop. Don't see it. Write your congressman about the tragedy that is Slender Man.
