Whilst the acting is good, and the music score terrific, I felt the writing was confused. The best twist would have been that the teacher character radicalized the 16 year old and oug; she recruited them, the same MO as El Qaida, she provides free home and food in exchange for loyalty to the Cause. Doug is buried on her land, she fears the girl will tell and was in any case jealous of her relationship with Doug, she has motive, means and opportunity. The former art teacher should have been the killer, and the Police should have found connections to extremist groups. Lena might have had motive, but not means or opportunity.
