"Indu Sarkar" uncovers India's untold history, unwritten past, unheard cries, from one of the darkest time, the time of Emergency (1975-1977). It shows what people had to suffer and ENDURE during the period of emergency. The movie, quite beautifully depicts how Revolts were silenced, poor were forcefully uprooted, media was banned and above all, how the Indians got divided into the two sects:- those who wanted the emergency to end asap and those who wanted to benefit from the emergency.
The acting of the protagonists is appreciable but the editing and cinematography is not up to the mark. If you are looking for a romantic or an action packed movie,this may not be your pick. But if you are looking for something historical or "Motivational" or something different from the herd, then this should surely be your choice.
