An indie that has no idea what it wants to be

KIN: FALLEN STAR is a very boring little indie drama with fantasy touches. Funded in Hong Kong, it was shot in Los Angeles with a mixture of American and Asian-American actors. The plot is so lightweight as to be obscure, and the film has no idea what it wants to be. It's listed as a martial arts wuxia movie but there's no action of any kind, just lots of small talk and flirting between actors of limited ability. The end result is a complete dud.
