death of a world
16 February 2017
one of my favorite films. sure, for Levan Abashindze. for the crumbs from Visconti and Pasolini. for the atmosphere and acting and references to Kafka and the fall of a world as a fight between obscure forces. one of films like a letter from other universe. beautiful and bizarre. seductive and dramatic. all seems be well known. not as story but as meet with small details who define the innocence in middle of a war who remains a sort of dark humor example. Mahler and Visconti and Bergman. and soft delicacy of a sort of melancholia. this is it. nothing surprising. only a trip across the memory of a time and the silhouettes of its people.
