Training Day (2017)
3/10
I paused to write this review after only 46 seconds
3 February 2017
It opens with a barrage of machine gun fire at the police from an apartment with a Uzi armed man, a screaming woman, and a crying baby in it. The opening credits featured a narrative from our star explaining that Los Angeles is and always was a hunting ground.

Ugh.

I might be alone in thinking this, but the first images in my mind were not of a brave policeman facing danger but of the insane gun legislation in the United States, and that policeman should be using elected officials as human shields. Especially those that repeatedly defeat any legislation to remove these kinds of weapons from peoples hands.

I am sick of seeing the frequency of these kinds of crimes happening over and over again throughout the United States.

After I resume the program, if there continues to be the glorification of gun use then "that's it" for this show and whatever its creators put their names to.

After ten minutes and a second machine gun battle I turned it off for good.
