A Paige from the past deals with the loss of Paige's foster parents when she was sixteen. Going back in time she realizes their death wasn't her fault and she was meant to survive to reconstitute the charmed ones. Meanwhile two ghosts possess Phoebe and Cole to fulfill their desire to get married. Rose McGowan delivers a wonderful performance as you see the sadness and guilt oozing from her pores as she tells her sisters about the fight causing the car accident. You can't help but want to taking her in your arms to comfort her grieving heart and tell her it wasn't her fault. One of my favorite moments is when her foster parents come back at the end to tell her how proud they are and love her like real parents would.
While Phoebe previously rejected Cole's proposal its revealed she wanted to, but was afraid to commit not wanting to grow up to fast. At least at the end Cole finally gets his biggest desire when she works through her issues of maturity and agrees to marry him. My only complaints is Clyde who opens a portal for them yet The Elders are capable and they never consider the possibility to jumble the mythology. Another this was a perfect opportunity to bring back Glenn since they supposedly were best friends their whole lives. The last was Piper covering up the ghosts crime spree without much work with it left up in the air If they closed the case or not and if Phoebe was still wanted instead of an easy fix. If these issues had been worked out it would be a perfect ten yet the writers choose to be lazy and seem to want only shiny cool special effects instead of substance which the script was headed for.
