Charmed: Déjà Vu All Over Again (1999)
Season 1, Episode 22
If you had to relieve the same day over

Warning: Spoilers
Tempus promises a demon Rodrigous he will reset the day until he successfully kills all three Charmed ones. Know gaining the attention of the source after taking out 28 of his evil minions he sets his sights on them, possibly the Oracle foresaw his vanquish, to rid the world of its greatest defender. What makes this episode a grand finale and the most memorable besides the unusual premise is Andy is lost in the battle. Yes King wanted a bigger role for season two and couldn't come to an agreement in time thus allowing Phoebe's premonition of his looming death to be fulfilled.

Never have I wept or felt such sorrow over a recurring character who wasn't a lead. I cried along with Prue as she said far well to the love of her life and kissed the hopes of a picket white fence and children goodbye. His dream vision to her to comfort her grieving was a nice touch and actually feels fitting that he doesn't want them to rewind the day to save him or avenge his murderer as it wasn't in his nature to call for vengeance.

Another thing I realized is if Andy hadn't intervened Phoebe would take his place and Paige would take her's thus altering two years of history before her original arrival in season four. While I wish Tempus could join Rodrigous for his part in the murder I feel great knowing the date he will suffer two years from this time point. Deju vu couldn't possibly be better and was a fitting ending to season one.
