Oh, c'mon guys, you've see much worse than this. I've seen countless movies on here that pale in comparison. To each his own, I suppose.

"Big Bad" was a bit of a mess. It had several missteps, a few unexplained scenes, and in general was hit-'n-miss. Still I kind of enjoyed it--the reason being the director/writer/and producer did have a nice little twist in here that I did not see coming. The plot is pretty basic: As a fundraiser, a high school has students agree to stay overnight in a supposedly haunted jail. That is as far as I'll go on the plot.

I also give praise to ANY movie whose plot revolves around teenagers, and then they actually CAST teenagers for the roles--not some 30 year-old's trying to POSE as teenagers. Also, it is nice to see yet another horror movie that does not rely on the gore factor to sell itself.

I am not saying this is a great movie, because, well, it isn't. But, like I said in my opening remarks: "Guys, you've seen way worse." Rated "R" for violence and language. I liked it; you guys will have to decide for yourself.
