"Tomb of the Werewolf" is a lightweight, mostly uninteresting softcore movie that occasionally remembers it is supposed to be a horror flick.
It was apparently the last time Naschy played his Waldemar Daninsky character, and I wish the movie could have given him a better send off. He's barely in it, and only pops up to kill people here and there as the hombre lobo.
I really only watched it for Michelle Bauer, looking dead sexy in her forties. The problem is she plays a character suited for a horror movie, and this isn't one. Her ominous presence sticks out like a sore thumb among the completely forgettable, generically pretty softscore stalwarts that make up the rest of the cast.
It was made by Fred Olen Ray, and it's at least not as bad as his other movies.
