The things that happened in the plot of this film could have been easily summarized in 15-20 minutes. Other that that, long boring camera shots, lots and lots of silence and, above all, a dog on a deserted island filmed for minutes at a time. It felt like watching National Geographic, but with a dog.
Because of the overwhelming silence, most of the scenes seemed unnatural. One of the main characters hardly ever said anything, an extra would have done just as well.
The only upside of this film was that all of the women in it were beautiful.
