Such a beautiful film from start to finish.
I wasn't familiar with the book so didn't know what to expect but I wasn't disappointed at all. It was filled with endearing, witty, and emotional moments. The change of colour throughout the film reflected EIlis's storyline and the whole thing just had me gripped, the characters, the 50s and the setting of New York. I've recently bought the book and can't wait to read it and then re-watch the film, I think it's one of those that I'll watch over and over. Also a big Domhnall Gleeson fan as well as his work is so impressive at the moment and it was lovely to see him being Irish!
