Well,it might be the most illogical entry in the series... but definitely the only one in the franchise to have good scare content all through out the movie. Seeing the ghost for the first time is pretty cool. The CGIs are pretty decent. (Would look way cooler if I watched this in 3D) Scare contents are way more in numbers than previous entries. But in quality (scare quality) I think it falls just short of the first two films. (The 3rd one was a fair movie but the fourth & especially the 5th was total rubbish). Although this film had some pretty decently orchestrated jumpscares here and there scattered throughout the running time,the thing that was missing was the "Atmosphere". But it was was better than PA 4 & PA 5. I think the main reason for low rating for this film is the lack of ingenuity (well,PA is milking that same old formula for a half a dozen films) & the lack of logic in the first half of the film. I mean,when you can SEE a black inky looking figure creeping out from under your bed & getting a humanoid shape at just 20 minutes from the beginning of the film...will you be stupid enough to stay in that house or not to contact an exorcist? Seriously? -_-
