Pretty film. But that is not enough.
It is like the director maintained static shots for too long and then doubled the length of time just to be extra annoying.
Just because the it is deliberately over slowed does not make it an art house film.
The dialogue is inadequate, the continuity terrible. It could have been great but the director has over worked it to try and make it "culty" or "arty". It just does not work.
Don't watch it unless you want to sleep.
All this said and done it might be more fun in an IMAX where the enormous prettiness might be worth it.
