It's totally logical for this movie to have such a low IMDb ratings than other Insidious Movie. People expected more from the previous movies that they have seen in this series, but as it was a prequel its perfectly understood and this part clears a whole lot of things about the series, some was still not clear about the other family that we saw in earlier may be they will link that up in the next movie, My conclusion is this was average for a prequel it could have been much better because there could have been so much more to show in a prequel the story line could have been much more intense and revealing much more hidden stories but they did a fine job but its way low than the earlier insidious movies.
