Perhaps too many years of more traditional, "safer" sitcoms like "Bob's Burgers" and "Brooklyn 99" have softened viewers sensibilities. The stupid dropping of American Dad (Fox's loss, TBS's gain) shows Fox's dislike of "in your face" shows (and AD was typically more edgy and innovative than FG, anyway)
