WrestleMania (2015 TV Special)
7/10
Great Atmosphere, Okay Wrestling.
30 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Wrestlemania is the greatest night is sports-entertainment for a reason. Every Wrestlemania, legends return, the arena is full of cool effects, and the superstars perform at high calibre. Despite having a better build-up than last year's, for me, this WM didn't quite click like I wanted it to.

Before the entire audience arrived, the kick-off started. Renee Young, Booker T, Byron Saxton and some other guy were providing news before any wrestling started. The first match was Cesaro & Tyson Kidd (champions) vs the Usos vs Los Matradores vs The New Day for the Tag Team Title. The champions retained their gold. The whole match was great. 8/10

The next was Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Cesaro won the first last year by eliminating the Big Show. Big Show won this time and I'm glad. He is the Andre The Giant of this generation. Andre died in 1993, Show debuted in 1995 and is still going strong. That match also saw the break-up of Miz and Damien Mizdow. He should go back to his original scholar character. Overall, it was great. 8/10

The first official match was was the seven man ladder match for the Intercontinental Title. I didn't care who won, all men were great and deserving. Daniel Bryan won, capturing another great WM moment. Though not as good as his main event victory last year, it was still and great win and great match. 8/10

Randy Orton vs Seth Rollins was the first regular match. Both guys are super talented and they put on a great show. My money was on Orton and he won by giving one of his best RKOs ever. 8.5/10

Sting vs Triple H was the match I was looking forward to the most. I've never really liked Triple H and I've always loved Sting--from his days in WCW to TNA, he's always been the best. My hatred for Triple H has grown since he created a stupid faction called "The Authority:" a clan of power abusers who are way too advantageous. Pro-wrestling has had power abusing groups, but who wants to see the bad guys never ever lose by cheating? Triple H tries to be the next Mr. McMahon and fails hard. Sting has never wrestled in WWE, not trusting the way he would be used if he would have joined them, after seeing how WWE buried former WCW superstars when he was taking time off. Sting finally joined and was the biggest threat on the clan. Before the match started, Sting had a generic entrance. He Had some of the best entrances ever in WCW and TNA. *RED CARD* When it came to their match, I was caught up in the moment loving every minute of it, but the second watch proved otherwise. As a no-holds-barred match, DX came out to help Triple H then NWo came out to help Sting. Any wrestling fan has wanted to see DX face NWO. It was a dream made in heaven. Triple H won. It was only natural for a WWE guy who is promoting the new Terminator movie to defeat a WCW guy in WWE's biggest event. Sting should have won anyway. All that aside, there was not enough wrestling. There was too many moments of rest- holds, taunting and pauses. If Sting would have won, I would have liked the whole match even more. I am a Sting-Freak! His first match in the WWE and maybe his only, and he loses. WWE potentially ruined Sting's legacy. Triple H and Vince McMahon are sore winner that they beat WCW. 6/10

I knew AJ and Paige would defeat the Bella Twins. But for a contemporary Diva's match, it was actually pretty good. Though not great. 7/10

John Cena wins back the US Title and ends Rusev's undefeated streak. Rusev has beaten them all and it was time to give the belt to someone else. Cena has lost many times, so he is serving as the middle man. Cena winning the mid card title is also a way of getting him out of the main event spot. If he lost, he would have been free to roam anywhere. Matchwise, it was pretty good too, but not amazing. 7/10

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon come out and start bragging as usual. Then the Rock comes out and Rhonda Rousey comes out to his side. The segment was long, but Rock returning and Rousey in WWE was sick. 8/10

Undertaker and Bray Wyatt was like Sting vs Triple H: great look and atmosphere, but mediocre wrestling. Undertaker looks like how he did in 2003 with his short hair. Bray Wyatt is like the new Undertaker, so both of them facing off was sick to see. Taker wins, keeping his legacy alive. 6.5/0

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns was easily the best match of the night. It had it all: power, intensity, high quality, blood, swerves, variety, excitement. I wanted Roman Reigns to win for there to be a full-time champion and to push new talent. The match was sick. With both men battered, Seth Rollins cashes in his briefcase during the match winning. As a fan of Seth Rollins since day one and a fan of him during the indie circuit, it was a glorious moment. I knew he would cash it in, I just thought it would happen after Roman won. 7.5/10

Overall, there was just a lack in high calibre entertainment that comes from the wrestling that is always seen in past WrestleManias. 95% of the night was sunny, so it really took away from the cool effects that made entrances. I predicted all the matches, but I still enjoyed it. All this acclaim I disagree with. So many sources give this perfect scores. Sure this was better than some Manias, but really wasn't Mania material.
