How I Met Your Mother: Three Days of Snow (2009)
Season 4, Episode 13
10/10
We should buy a bar!

Warning: Spoilers
I'd have to say that HIMYM is my favorite sitcom of all time, and this is definitely in my top five favorite episodes.

To give a brief summary, a snow storm hits NYC and causes some problems for the gang. The story leads the viewer to believe we're witnessing three different story lines on the same day--Ted and Barney's bar "Puzzles" (whys it called Puzzles? That's the Puzzle!), Marshall and Robin's journey to the airport, and Lily and Ranjit's search for a six-pack--but as the title says, this is three days of snow.

There were some great character interactions in this episode that outshine many of the others. No one really ever talks about it, but Ted and Barney have a real strong relationship, (even though Ted insists Marshall is his best friend) and it shows more than ever as they find a way to borrow Carl's bar for a bit.

Marshall and Robin really expanded on their relationship as well. These two characters always seem to be the most distant within the group, and rarely do they team up for a story line that only involves the two of them. (another one is where Marshall takes Robin to the Vikings bar in "Little Minnesota") Together they find the right mix of heartfelt moments and humor.

Overall, I have to give this one a 10/10 being it's in my top five. I really miss this show, and more so miss the characters that I grew to love so much.
