Really dug the writing, acting, directing, editing. Has a simple, operatic story "arc", but I couldn't detect any kind of grand mythos. In the end, I said, "That's OK."
The character work is wonderful and endearing. All hands pitched in to make this a sort of frenetic shadow puppet play of minor heavies and heroes/heroines that you can watch while eating your noodles.
Stunner anti-feminist fillip at the end; kind of shocking! Speaking of which, Geena needs to spend a little more time at the gym. Mmmmraow!
