Donald Duck in a film-noir, type cartoon.

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't really get this cartoon short when I watched it as a kid. But, in later years, I understood the story.

This cartoon short is cleverly set in a gangster, film-noir type of way, where Donald Duck steals his nephew's money so he can go out on a date with Daisy. Then, after the date is over and having escorted Daisy home, all these images of gangsters and fugitives enter Donald's mine - making him feel guilty about stealing his nephews' money. Therefore, before he returns home, he works one night as a dishwasher to earn the money to pay them back.

The cartoon short is actually captivating and intriguing, portraying Donald Duck as trying to make amends for his crimes rather than his usually bumbling and bad-luck pronged self. It's a pretty fun and clever film short to give the moral that crime doesn't pay.
