Lootera is a fine portrayal of Old School Romance. It is set in India of 1950s when Zameendari system was abolished. Both actors, Ranveer and Sonakshi have delivered a commendable performance. The story glides smoothly through Amit Trivedi's melodious music. It gets a bit slow in fragments and has it's share of loopholes but manages to strike a chord in the end. Vikramaditya Motwani tells another gem of a story after "Udaan". Dialogues written by Anurag Kashyap are amusing at places. Cinematographer of movie has also done a commendable job as he captures some really picturesque scenes shot in Dalhousie. It has logical drawbacks but deserves to be seen at least once. I'll go with 3.5/5.
