7/10
Nice movie about human relationships, but also about solitude

THE STATION AGENT is mostly a drama but it has some slight and intelligent humor too. It's a story about a dwarf who inherits a small old train station, in New Jersey's country side, and starts relating to some people who live around: mostly OLIVIA (Patricia Clarkson) and JOE (Bobby Cannavale). His name is FIN (Peter Dinklage) and he's a very shy person, a solitary man who doesn't like too much talking, the very opposite of JOE, which in the beginning almost "forces" FIN to talk to him… It's a little story about solitude, but also about human relationships, in this case between essentially these three characters (there's a few more of course, but they aren't too many in this film), told in an intelligent way and with a subtle but effective humor. I did appreciate it and score it 7/10.
