Surprisingly good - one of Van Damme's best
9 January 2013
The plot is solid and with multiple levels and backgrounds, the clichés present are not annoying, and includes several exciting and distinct scenes like the one in front of a courthouse. The cast is also even and thrilling to follow: Jean-Claude Van Damme as Vince Brazil and Scott Adkins as Roland Flint are versatile and credible, and bad guys are not obtuse bullies who get constantly killed. The ending consists of multiple and different scenes. In other words, a good and entertaining action, showing that "old" actors can easily outperform the ones below 30 starring in Hollywood blockbusters.

It is pleasant to ascertain that Van Damme is not timeworn, but nonperishable so far - like Dolph Lundgren - and unlike Steven Seagal. Way to go, he is currently 52 years old only! :)
