An engaging movie about the best-laid dreams of men.

Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this movie with friends after many years since its DVD release. We all enjoyed it , and I would say the best thing about it again is that it's interesting and relatable, especially to anyone trying to stay on the right , path, purpose, etc.

Mitch is like someone with a less than perfect life, i.e. almost anyone, but he is keeping his die-hard dreams alive. In fact the only possible downside of the film is that it is too real. Maybe it needs gratuitous violence and sex leading to an explosive

climax , in which our hero gets literally shot down or taught his lesson but life goes on. And therein lies the quandary with a good

Indie flick: does it appeal to the numb masses or is it an honest and believable portrayal? Men in Scoring Position is the latter, and worth watching just for the story. But if you enjoy movies for more than high-budget crap , the quality acting and production in this movie stimulate from start to finish.
