Paanch never got released till date and finally it's available online, I downloaded the film on torrent. The film however is a miss for our Indian Audiences who will miss out on how Anurag started off. The film is a dark film and has several twists and turns, perhaps a decade has past but the film doesn't look aged. The film keeps you involved throughout and the characters are superbly handled, I fail to understand how come the film was not released, when nowdays cinema is become all the more provocative. The reasons the film was banned is all the more disgusting, There are a few flaws, one being the finale twist is not too convincing, Also several questions are left unanswered.
Direction is superb by Anurag Kashyap Music is good though could be better for a rock based film
Amongst actors Kaykay Menon is superb as Luke, he is simply superb, the film was made during the time he wasn't a known name yet and was struggling, Had the film released, he would have received great praise though it came later with Sarkar and other films. Tejasvini Kolhapure is good in her role though could be better at places Aditya Shrivastav is superb, the actor is one of the most underrated actors we have today, though he is known for films like Black Friday and on TV as Inspector Abhijeet in CID, yet we need to see more of him Joy Sengupta and Vijay Maurya are fantastic in their roles Sharat Saxena is superb, rest are okay
