Swept Away met Blue Lagoon and Robinson Swiss Family
5 October 2012
This is supposed to be the new version of the blue lagoon. There is the island, the sea, the "dangerous", "mystery" and of course the blue lagoon. And the actress Indiana Evans and her mom (Denise Richardson) could be clones of the Milla Jovovich and Brooke Shields. But this look much more a third version of swept away. A popular chick and a lonely guy (both look like supermodels or at least like The Robinson Swiss Family), take about from a ship, and then ended in an inhabited island. The thought at first that they were on a resort. After a couple of days, they cut strategically their clothes, and finally have sex until they are rescued a month after.

Finally, they have some troubled for stay together after they were rescued, but end happily together just like the infamous Madonna movie.

If you forget the impossible details. Like this could happened on the Caribbean sea (much possible in the Pacific Ocean, where there are thousands of relative big deserted islands), they look better in the island with the sun, they haven't troubles with the bugs, bad sleep, and the duo looks more like supermodels, well isn't as bad. In fact it's an entertaining movie.

From the cast Christopher Atkins, has not learned anything from acting since his debut 35 years ago. Denise Richards as the suffer mum is just a little better. And the couple, definitive the guy Dean (Brendon Thwaites) is a much better actor than Atkins, share some emotion, and probably will a better career than Gaskill, after cast in a key role on a Angelina Jolie movie.

From the girl Evans. Well Jovovich and Shields weren't good actress at time they made their flicks.

Jovovich need more than ten years to be a great action (and acceptable drama) actress, and Shields 25 to be a good comedian on TV and Stage.

So clearly, her acting could be improve.-
