I've read a lot about this film and was curious to see what it was about. I had seen the trailers but they didn't really give much information and people seem really split on liking it or not.
Technically, the low budget shines through, but it looks much better than most indies. It's slow and the pacing is a bit uneven but the acting is good.
I like it very much because you can decide for yourself if it's about a man going crazy or a man who's haunted by a ghost. When I've talked to people online who saw it at festivals, the most people who like it are the ones who say he's imagining the ghost and that he is schizophrenic. As a straight horror movie it doesn't hold up because there is too much drama, but as a psychological thriller or family tragedy it's actually really, really good. You just have to see it like that.
