Warning: Spoilers
You know a movie is a misconceived mess when Faith Domergue is in a prominent role and you don't even notice until the credits roll at the end. (She was the "older" sister of the Dean clan).

The energy leaks out of the screenplay in the first three minutes and never comes back. It doesn't matter what the director and the writer try to toss at you - ax murder, incest, whippings, piranhas, electrocutions, poisoning, Nazi skin lampshades, you name it - the movie just lies there like a puddle of congealing grease in a frying pan.

Bad dialog.Bad acting.Bad editing. Bad costumes. Bad hair.

There's the odd bit of dialog that works, mostly when he-man driver/chauffeur "Chuck" is on screen. He can't save the movie but he kept it from being utterly unwatchable.

This is one of those projects that really never should have been made. I hate to imagine what the cast party was like when they wrapped up shooting - I imagine the actors and actresses pretty much agreed never to mention this misfire again.
