Only one word is necessary; LOL

Alright, I first of all, let me just say that I found the first "Paranormal Activity" movie to be semi-adequate, because it wasn't particularly scary. I watched part 2 despite of this, and must say that part 2 was really, really boring. So it was with a great deal of skepticism and reluctance that I sat down and watched part 3.

Are you kidding me? This movie was a joke.

There is nothing scary about this movie at all, and suddenly there is a coven involved in it? That just didn't make any sense at all.

Sure, there were times when the movie was starting to build up suspense, but it never really climaxed into a full-out effect. It wasn't scary at all. The best part about this movie was when whatever entity it was started moving stuff about in the girl's room and making one girl slide across the floor.

The people in the movie did good enough jobs with their staged characters. Mind you, this is entertainment, not a real documentary. But it wasn't really characters that you bought into, and they were lacking personalities and depths.

I enjoy horror movies, but "Paranormal Activity 3" was pretty far from being scary. But I am sure if you found the first two movies scary, then you will probably find this one scary too. But for people, like myself, who are used to watching proper horror movies, this is like a stroll in the park at high noon.

And as for these movies being authentic; yeah right! It is entertainment, not real life. With this bottom-feeder third installment of the series, it is time to let the franchise die off quietly and go to sleep.
