My husband and I went to see "The Reef" last night at the movies. I must say I was quite impressed. I thought like other user reviews with comparing this movie to JAWS, Open Water and Deep Blue Sea that it would have to be quite good if it was to be on par with either of these movies and with the shark being a Great White it makes it even more realistic. Yes, it is not up their to win a Oscar however it kept you on the edge of your seat and the attacks were very realistic. The cast was also refreshing with being Aussies and with being in OZ it was quite real. There wasn't much time to get board and the length of the movie went very quickly and wasn't drawn out.
