Warning: Spoilers
It is unfortunate that this film is called Hindsight because the title just about gives away the sting in the tail that is the characteristic of the erotic thriller genre. He and she should have seen it coming could well have been the tag line of this film but to be fair, sometimes it is easier to see things from the outside looking in than it is from the inside.

Jason Andrews (Ken Steadman) is a down-at-heel actor who for some inexplicable reason has taken the fancy of rich and lonely wife Joanne Lehman (Kathy Shower). Both are planning a life together but then his head is turned by model (or is she?) Cassandra (Cyndi Pass). Suddenly, Jason's career takes on a new lease of life. He gets the offer of a part in a new film and gets to meet the industry's movers and shakers in the most exclusive night spots. What to do? A new life with Joanne or a revamped career? Then there is Joanne's husband (John Philip Law) who spends a lot of time at the office.

This film did not impress on first viewing. However, after a couple of times a liking for this film developed. There was the concept of a film within a film when Jason was reading for the part; there was Karen (Tuesday Knight) who took on the personae of famous leading ladies with each appearance; the voice of John Philip Law which sounded uncannily like Mr Sulu from Star Trek. The nudity and nightclub scenes seemed rather uninspiring although welcome diversions. A rating of 4 stars seems fair.
