What a delight to watch such a movie. Even if it is the usual scheme of a cop nearly in perdition who tracks a serial killer down. Cliché among clichés. But it is worth the detour. No romance in here. No humour. Nothing but awfulness. Expect the unexpected. Some sequences are unbearable. Prepare yourself to vomit, bring up your last meal. If you are subject to nauseas, avoid this picture. Nevertheless, some situations are incomprehensible. Especially near the very end.
Dennis Quaid, as Kurt Russel and Jeff Bridges, seems not to get older. After all these years, more than two decades, he continues to play as lead characters in grade A pictures - but not blockbusters, I admit.
