6/10
too predictable but a good reminder of realistic issues.

first of this feature deals with mature subject matter that 100% not suitable for any kids( not because violence, that is quiet minimal actually, but because the psychological strain inquired even by an adult).

this is a good production, excellent acting all around in great British manner i am pleasantly getting accustomed too more and more lately( Hollywood just simply can not keep pace with real plot developments lately, other then trying to "shock" the viewer). however i can not call this one "great" simply because the plot, to me, is VERY predictable; the end just simply can not be in any other way; and because the movie is not fast paced , except for emotions inquired on certain scenes, it becomes quiet boring towards end.

this movie gets such great reviews ONLY because is a moralistic tale, with great reason i might add, but still not entertaining enough if that is why you are thinking to pick up this movie. however it will be a definite hit for mothers and towards female solidarity as well.

a good watch, and i also like that it does not play on the "fear" sentiments( targeting adults that is) as the American movies do more and more lately.
