**** this contain some spoiler about argument*** I couldn't say that is a Oscar winning movie but I liked, th story is simple like life in the bottom that's the message of the movie, life is simple do what you have to do, Claudio Caballero finds himself in a pretty fat trouble, only to probe that he could do a big concert like his older brother used to organize.
In the process he will meet Tony Zamacona son of a local gangster which he makes a bet on a soccer game, when Claudio loose the bet Tony's father gives him 7 Days to get the money... But when Tony knows Claudios plan about bring to Monterrey a Concert Date of U2's Vertigo Tour Tony convince his father for support him but the deadline stills the same 7 days money, concert or Claudio's life.
Tony will show Claudio the true meaning about CARPE DIEM in his own point of view, Tony is a young man whom has three laws in his life, have a great meal (20 or more Tacos) Have a great sex with his girlfriend (sex is the best exercise in world) and finally make a big fat s**t. And above all this exists his devotion to the biggest band of world (U2).
So this two forced friends became the best friends.
The movie has a good soundtrack, the photography is cool with some strange view angles but it helps to tell the story.
But I must insist the movie is simple Life is too.
