Things can change

This movie I have watched a couple of times. Firstly what stands out is the versatility of both lead characters. Mos def plays an almost innocent young blood who just fell on the bad side of luck. Bruce Willis plays a cop who never faced the harsh realities of his past actions is drawn by the soft nature of Mos Def. The audience's empathy with the character grows and what made me like the plot was the pursuit of doing the right thing in the face of obstacles. Credit to the whole cast really. Direction of the movie keeps pace with the plot and the ending is as touching as is the beginning shocking. The movie deserves a second look for all those who think it is a 6/7 because it is much more than a cop movie as the plot is far more in depth than what is seen on the surface. Even people not a great fan of Bruce Willis this one is one to be enjoyed and is not your run of mill the cop chase!! Popcorn please...
