This film may have had potential, but it was definitely not fulfilled. The dialogue is atrocious--even the witty comments come off as scripted and unoriginal. "Straight or Dead!" had me laughing for a long time. The message of hate for straights is scary and an inaccurate portrayal of queer culture. Not every homosexual can recall at least 5 horrible things done to him/her by "straights." And the sex scenes are completely ridiculous. Who really picks up a trick from a street corner then goes home and makes passionate love to him (including gratuitous kissing that goes on way too long). I think this film is one that should be left on the shelf at the local movie rental store...don't bother. (And I want back the time I wasted waiting for a plot or point to the action.)
