i saw this movie yesterday and absolutely loved it, in a time when all Hollywood seems to be able to do, is make 1 remake after another, comes a film, it takes a wrestling promoter who's in the business of 'sports entertainment' to get the movie fans back to the the theaters.
Kane in the movie is enough to scare the heck out of you, and although some cheesy acting by the younger set, i was able to overlook that, because after all the movie was about a monster, and kane is the perfect monster, no makeup needed there.
i've been going to horror movies for over 30 yrs and have seen some good and some that made me say, 'i spent all this money for this'? the village, and house of 1000 corpses comes to mind, i'm sure i can think of more, but you get the point.
if i were to worry about a movie that supposedly's all about blood and gore, i would've never seen dawn of the dead (both) or land of the dead.
so if you're tired of all the remakes that've come out in the past yr or so, go see this movie and send a message to the Hollywood big shots that you're tired of their copying movies and ready for something original.
