I am also a 17 year old male, and I love CCS -both the Manga and the Anime- it's so imaginative and well thought through, each character has his/her own personality and the're own hobbies and love interests. It is aimed more towards girl readers/watchers, but this is probably due to the team of writers (CLAMP) are all female, guys can still enjoy it though - as long as they have an open mind and aren't too "macho" to watch Anime/read Manga. I haven't actually seen the first movie (only the second one) but I still believe that it is worth watching, and as soon as I track down a copy, I guarantee that I will love every second of it ^^ Go Sakura!
