It is basically the same game as the N64 version, with some tweaks here and there. Such as, starting as Yoshi, and unlocking Mario,Luigi,and Wario along the way. There are now 150 stars to collect and different levels. The multi player and mini games are nifty too. The capabilities of the DS take this game to its full potential. The power flowers are cool too. Giving each character there own abilities while equipped with the flower is a nice touch. Mario can inflate like a balloon and float. Yoshi can breath fire. Luigi can walk through enemies and obstacles. Wario can turn to metal and be invincible for a while. Overall this game is better than the original but not by that much.
