This is surely the weakest Bugs Bunny cartoon I've ever seen. Beaky Buzzard simply is not funny and has no appeal at all. As a matter of fact he's down-right annoying. He's not a character I wish to see again in further Looney Tunes cartoons.
This short has him preying after Bugs because Mama Buzzard wants him to go out and catch his first dinner. Bugs obviously doesn't take so well to this and doesn't make it easy for the bird. But where is the usual Bugs Bunny intelligence, outsmarting, battle of wits? Not here I tell ya.
Beaky Buzzard is not a formidable opponent for our fave rabbit and this cartoon is completely DOA. Avoid it.
